What is MasterClass

MasterClass is an institutional learning solution that combines syllabus based content with student learning tools and an online learning management system.

The MasterClass study material is innovatively structured and presented for classroom teaching. Professors can use our MasterBoards to visually explain micro concepts. They can go from concept to derivation and finally to a numerical application. All this can be done through our engine that runs off a college server and delivered to classrooms over a Local Area Network or Wifi Access points.

How does it work?

MasterClass follows the concept of visual learning. It believes that what we see leads to better learning. We don’t teach through text and chapters from a book. We teach in micro concepts called Topics of Learning, where eachtopic is digitised in images and illustrations shown with real life examples. That’s our pedagogy –to learn by seeing what we already know to be true.

Who is it for?

The solution is for both faculty as well as students. We are looking to bridge the faculty gap by developing teaching modules that are linked to syllabus and is consistent and comprehensive in concepts. At the student end, we believe that at least 60-80% of our classrooms today are handicapped in both language and expression. Through MasterClass we aim to overcome both.

How is Dragonfly MasterClass different?

The material is a result of discussions with students and teaching faculty and looks to overcome the challenges in engineering classrooms and the administrative burden of our institutions.

We have broken away from the mould of chapter wise teaching and created a unique structure of teaching. For the first timein India has our engineering syllabus been divided into a 4 distinct segments comprising concepts and numericals,, where each segment has been produced using a consistent framework of innovative methodologies and teaching techniques.

This is a solution that is made for India, by India.
